James M. Tuccori
James Tuccori is the Owner and President of FEFA Asset Management (FAM).
Prior to FAM, James was already taking steps as an entrepreneur in the world of finance . In 2014, while completing his undergraduate degree, James co-founded FEFA, which provides wealth strategy and retirement consultation to federal employees. In 2017 he was invited to the Exclusive Access Event at the New York Stock Exchange hosted by Annexus. Following the NYSE closing bell ceremony, he was recognized as the youngest ever to be invited to the event. Additionally, James has been a guest speaker at numerous informational events across 19 states, as well as on air for Union Members' Radio WDTK regarding finance and wealth planning.
James graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Finance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Currently he is working on his Master's Degree from the University of Michigan in Applied Data Science. He has passed the Series 65 Securities exam and holds life insurance license in 25 states as well as his health insurance license.
Gary A. Barohn, CFA
Gary Barohn is the Chief Investment Officer for FEFA Asset Management. He has more than 30 years of industry experience, which includes research analysis and portfolio management for both retail and institutional accounts. Mr. Barohn was with Wells Fargo Advisors and Wells Fargo Investment Institute for approximately 14 years in total, where he was Lead Portfolio Manager for an all-equity portfolio and Co-Portfolio Manager for a family of six asset allocation portfolios. He was also involved in investment manager due diligence and selection for the firm’s multi-manager portfolio models.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Mr. Barohn was President and Chief Investment Officer of Western Asset Management in St. Louis where he managed an All Cap Value strategy. Prior to this, he was a Senior Vice President with St. Louis-based Conning Asset Management where he headed up the company’s $300 million active equity investment program and managed several of the equity funds with the General American Capital Company family of funds.
Gary has been a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder since 1989. Mr. Barohn received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Purdue University and his M.B.A. in Finance from The University of Missouri. Additionally, Gary has passed his FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registration exams and holds his Missouri Life, Accident & Health Insurance license.
Matthew Crowe is the Senior Portfolio Manager at FEFA Asset Management. Matt brought with him nearly a decade of experience in the financial industry prior to joining FAM.
Following his college graduation, Matt enlisted in the military and served in the United States Army, where he was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. After leaving the military he worked as a private contractor, supporting US and NATO troops in Afghanistan. At the conclusion of his work in the Middle East, Matt returned home and entered the financial services industry becoming a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones in 2011.
Matt's initial focus was on portfolio alignment and risk management, but his passion and understanding of financial markets quickly led to new opportunities. From there he brought his skills to Wells Fargo where his responsibilities shifted to portfolio model development and management for high net worth clients, as well as extensive work with executing detailed securities and market forecasting.
Matt graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Central Missouri. Mr. Crowe has passed both the series 7 and 66 exams and holds his Missouri insurance licenses in life, health, property and casualty.
Ben Dreyfuss is the Senior Investment Analyst at FEFA Asset Management. Prior to joining FEFA Asset Management, Mr. Dreyfuss was an investment banking associate in the Consumer & Retail and Financial Sponsors group at KeyBanc Capital Markets, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions.
At FAM, Ben focuses on long term focused portfolios and strategic analysis. His understanding of private markets and insights on long-term trends adds significant value to our proprietary models and processes. In addition Ben spends a considerable amount of time with clients focusing on customized strategies for retirement, wealth accumulation, and insurance planning. In addition to his role with FAM, he serves as a Wealth Strategist for FEFA.
Mr. Dreyfuss graduated cum laude from the Farmer School of Business at Miami University, where he received a B.S. in Finance. He has passed the Series 63, 65 and 79 exams and holds life insurance licenses in 12 states.
